Every very little bit helps. And, for sure it does. Here’s where you can possibly help Congregation Beth Israel even in this economy. Do you go grocery shopping? I’m sure you must. So, without paying a penny more than the face value of the gift card, why not purchase cards for Fry’s, Safeway, Bashas, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Albertsons or Walmart. They come in various denominations and can be purchased even on a monthly plan. All you have to do is go to our website at cbiaz.org then click on the Religious School header. A list of items will pop up including the Gift Card Program. Fill out the form or contact Fran Frazin to place your order. It’s very simple and in return, we are given a percentage of the face value from every card purchased which then helps with our operating expenses. It benefits us all. I know using credit cards is the easy way to pay for just about everything. But, here at CBI, using credit cards adds up to about $60,000 per year in bank fees that could also be put to far better use than giving it to the bank. So, would you consider using your checkbook instead? Or allowing us to use a direct withdrawal from your checking account to reduce needless bank fees? Please let us know.
Remember, we’re all in it together and together we can all help.
